Installation Rules – Explained
Installation Technician is one of the trades that the government controls under the Department of Labour. The Department stipulates certain requirements a person must fulfill before they can be certified as an Installation Technician commonly known as a wireman’s license. At Cresta Vaal College, we help you achieve one of the requirements needed for you to qualify as an Installation Technician (wireman’s license).
One of the main requirements is for a student to pass a theoretical course called Installation Rules.
This exam is given under the Department of Higher Education and Training.
Pass Mark
The installation exam comprises of two papers that candidates must pass with a minimum of of 50% each.

SPECIALISED Electrical Installation Codes 1 & 2 (MASTERS)
Specialised Electrical Installation Codes – Explained
This is a course for Master Installers or Installations. The Course is implemented just like Installation Rules 1 & 2. It also has papers 1 & 2.
This exam is given under the Department of Higher Education and Training
